Belatedly reporting that I've been wearing my Speedhawk for the last two days.

I just noticed that mine has a black date dial and yours is white!

Looks good anyway.

Yours is correct with the black date dial. Mine was a Nearly New and after much researching it appears at some stage it got a date wheel and/or movement from a C13.
The numbers are slightly too big for the C11 date wheel so when it gets into double figures it's hard to make it out. But I like it, it's different and rare :)

Rapidly turning into being my beater and being worn every other day. The watch takes knocks in more ways than one.

Lovely piece. The ones with an hour hand are even better!

The world's poshest 'beater'!
Having seen thus very watch at the Great Central Get Together, I can safely say that no photographs, even this good one, do this watch justice.
It really is smart, Richard.

It's easy to get hooked on little scenes like this, if you follow the line.
