C9 5-Day Small Seconds (SH 21 hand wound chronometer)

I always think of this as CW’s “Marine Chronometer.” :D

This is lowest full moon we'll see for another 20 years, thanks to something called a 'Major Lunar Standstill' that happened earlier in the year 8)

We went out and had a look last night. The moon was surprisingly low in the sky for a full or nearly full moon. It looked a golden colour to me.

So last week a totally unexpected opportunity arose for a CW watch that I have admired for some time but never thought I would get the opportunity to own, today was delivery day and i now fully understand what all the fuss is about.

We all say we have keepers in our collection but let's be honest, if there's something you want and a certain watch has to go to allow you to own it then that watch goes. Having said that, this one will go nowhere for a very long time.

New to me today, in "as new" condition having never been worn.

C8 Power Reserve, looks as good from the back as it does from the front 😊👏💪

🔱😎👌
