Re: CWL of the day
C60 Trident-Pro, mark I, grey bezel.
I know that for some the original C60 is a nothing, a little dinosaur, nowhere near as interesting as later iterations: I get that we all like different things and when I spotted this rather beaten example languishing on EBay lacking a lume pip, looking like its fall from grace had involved several rough bounces and barely running I shed a tear of sympathy.
So off it went to the service department at CW where the lovely people found a lume pip, respected my wishes to preserve the scarred patination and simply make the watch run like new.
It came home yesterday. Every mark on the bezel is a scratch or a gouge and I'd love to hear the back story. The watch came on a very rough old leather strap but right now the watch is enjoying the sunshine on an old Yellow Dog custom leather nato with black furniture so it doesn't detract from the state of the watch.
Will I wear it every day? 'course not. It's about the most beaten CW watch that I own and now shares space with my C8 as having been bought as a wreck is now enjoying a second life. I'm sue it's good for the planet.......

ive yet to have a green wrist from my bronze bracelet. how long did it take for you to develop that heavy patina?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 9:22 pm Bronze C65 Sandhurst Series II for today.
If you look carefully in the second pic, you'll see the collateral damage of a green wrist from the bronze bracelet.
