We, as in the forum lol, did a bit of research into it and we worked out that either it was an early prototype or more likely the date wheel or the whole movement was changed st some stage. I bought it nearly new from Wera.
I like the fact that's it different.
The date numerals are a bit too big for the date hole though so when in a double digit date it is hard to read but it's unusual so I'm happy
