Old but still a really nice watch ian
Not "still nice" This "pilot" going better with every scratch on it, with every dent on a strap. Classy retro style! It looks better when it's look as real old watch
And that was a picture that kinda hid the scratches. Although in real life it does not look that bad but in close up photos with the light it makes it look worse. Like this one.
I keep on thinking I should really get it re-brushed or maybe even polished like the C5A cream which I quite like now.

Quite thick (3mm) and chunky and because it is 18mm to 18mm it does not look so dressy. And very good price considering it is a nice piece of leather. The deployment is from eBay sell GoodCheapMan although I keep on saying I should change it for a CWL one.
Great seeing a watch that has been used. Absolutely fantastic patina on this. Love it.
In light of my comment above about how great it is to see watches being used, this poor old girl has been living on the winder for ages. (Was even considering moving her on! ) Thought that I would give her a well deserved outing and really glad that I did. Forgot how much i like her!

Thanks, Ian.
I had a look at the site and the seller does not appear to stock that particular model anymore.
No worries, I'll be on the lookout for something similar.
