My W61 finally back again on shark mesh, after a few years on the original black strap. I'd forgotten how difficult it was to remove the fitted curved strap. :problem:

I've always preferred shark mesh straps that didn't come with the horizontal (springbar) tube across the lugs. The tube tends to emphasise the gap between the case and the lug-end of the mesh, and I really don't like that obvious straight line drawn across the lugs - one reason I'm not into Milanese mesh straps.

That strap look just spot on there. Perfect combo

I always like this time of year because the CWL of the day gets a refresh with everyone’s sale purchases. I didn’t buy one, but I did buy a recycled desk made from old scaffold boards. Its sanded smooth but has the feel of the grain left in which I love, as well as a few lumps and bumps. It’s a great backdrop for my go to Dartmouth!

C60 Sapphire Orange for my last night shift of my week tonight.
It's also my second last spin in my current MINI Cooper Exclusive as I'm collecting my new MINI tomorrow afternoon :)

Congratulations Alex !!
I'm glad you got one of these, superb watch.

Even with all CW’s great offerings over the last year or so, I still think this is one of the best models they’ve produced in so many ways.

I have the impression you are quite fond of this watch. Is that a mini schnauzer in your artistically blurred background?

I got some more leather in a few days back and finished sewing up this new strap for it last night. Shame not to give it a wear today…

It was bought as a godo watch when the Breitling isn’t being used.
