I’m rarely jealous of somebody else’s watch, but this one is the exception! Absolutely love it Guy.
Cheers, Kev.

It is a good 'un.

Hard to fathom that I bought it in a heartbeat, this time last year in the Sale. I don't wear it nearly enough.

Titanium case, 1000m WR, 'breather' small seconds and similar 'breather' in the case back showing the orange rotor. Fat hands, that were slimmed down for production.

Its a fab watch.

Guy

PS> Your 5-day C9 is none too shabby either.

It's an 'Elite Elite'.............absolutely stunning Sir.

The C9 is a great watch but it's a big unit - I think the new C5 Malvern may get more wear time than it this year. Funny how tastes change, the C9 and the 'Beast' never used to feel particularly large when my collection was filled with 43mm MkII's, but now feel massive. And the likes of the new C60 CWEC at 40mm doesn't feel small. Still think my perfect size is the Elite/Concept 42mm though, especially in Titanium!

I would love to see the caseback.

Also, is the breather actually a small seconds dial, in the sense that the breather 'rotates" around the subdial? From vids of the actual chronograph, I assumed the breather "pulsed".

Here we go. Photo of the caseback;-

As to the 'breather' small seconds, this photo perhaps illustrates it best.

Image

It works in the same way as the 'breather' small seconds on the C60 Trident Mk2 Chronograph.

The dial has a set of six curved cut outs in a circle, behind which rotates a disk with a similar set of six curved bars that match the cut-outs in the dial. As the disc rotates the curved bars disappear and reappear as if they are pulsing; in the manner of the 'breather' on an Aqualung.

I hope that makes sense.
