^^^many thanks Ferg, I'm liking the watch/strap combo more every time I wear it. It's quite bright but works in the lighter days.

Your IPB Elite looking very nice too, lovely deep colour in the dial. That's not the original strap? Do you prefer it on the black leather?

Yes it's a Di-Modell Pilot. I am going away from rubber straps alright, mainly leather now or bracelet.
