Thanks for the picture. My original interest in CW watches was to purchase a GMT watch (Trident GMT) that was actually associated with the city/place where it started.

Before buying a CW and joining this site I assumed head quarters was London....or the larger metropolitan area. Much like New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo or similarly large city has a wide metro area that can be board. I don't live in UK so I don't understand if Maidenhead can be considered to be part of that larger metro area, or is a separate place of its own like say Reading. I only visit the website.

I also heard a rumor a few years ago that someone had floated the idea of London/UK switching from their timezone in order to align with mainland Europe, but I would assume any such thought has been abandoned post Brexit.

One of the few CWs that I still seem to wear. So perhaps time for a clear out of most of the others.

Walk to the beach for the day, it's hard to beat the Cornish coastline on a day like today...

Camping near and swimming in the largest freshwater lake in the world (by surface area), Lake Superior. It is 'only' 406 meters deep so I could take my C60 to the bottom of the lake if I wanted to. :)
