Re: CWL of the day
Before buying a CW and joining this site I assumed head quarters was London....or the larger metropolitan area. Much like New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo or similarly large city has a wide metro area that can be board. I don't live in UK so I don't understand if Maidenhead can be considered to be part of that larger metro area, or is a separate place of its own like say Reading. I only visit the website.Proco2020 wrote:Maidenhead?Watchamacallit wrote:Thanks for the picture. I also heard a rumor a few years ago that someone had floated the idea of London/UK switching from their timezone in order to align with mainland Europe, but I would assume any such thought has been abandoned post Brexit.
Re: CWL of the day
One of the few CWs that I still seem to wear. So perhaps time for a clear out of most of the others.

Camping near and swimming in the largest freshwater lake in the world (by surface area), Lake Superior. It is 'only' 406 meters deep so I could take my C60 to the bottom of the lake if I wanted to.
