My wife has one of these, makes me feel like borrowing it... again. Lovely watch.

It's definitely up there with their very best, would probably be in my top 5 CW's. Too large for my wrists though.

Last full day of Italian holiday tomorrow, we are off to Milan so I am going to wear the jump hour tomorrow as I go window shopping.

We have been into Switzerland twice and both times there where high class watch shops every other shop, Patek's 2 a penny, appear to be lots of Hublot shops which do not appeal to me.

Wife kept saying how much is that one and I would reply 50k+ we would have a laugh and walk on.

I am expecting much the same in Milan tomorrow but should be a good day, keep reminding the wife it's my birthday next week but she is not biting.

After rushing in for the "Phoenix" on a bracelet on the re-issue and being impressed initially on delivery, it very quickly fell out of favor (3 or 4 outings tops) and it has languished in the box ever since,

I thought about moving it on once or twice but could never bring myself to part with it for some reason, then in the recent sale I grabbed a bargain rubber-like leather strap and POW!!! its back on the wrist, and I am loving it!

^^looks fantastic on the black strap pipesmoker! i prefer it to the bracelet. nice when a watch gets a reprieve
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment
