As no one appears to want to buy it I thought I would wear it today.

Hi Ferg, I struggle to see the difference between your Brooklands and my DBR1 other than a slight difference in the Green which may be down to the camera or monitor.

Still the restoration looks great on it,

Thanks Kevin.
The main difference is that the Brooklands has a black bezel compared to the green bezel on the DBR1.
Also the Brooklands has the 12, 3 & 9 numerals in white with a green background whereas the DBR1 has black numerals on a white background.

Leather has a nice matt finish and the three holes are a good size and go a good way around the strap (larger and further than on a Hirsch Rally Natural I have). Length is a tad longer than average at 120/80; which suits me. The lining is soft and comfortable, but this means the hole I'm using for the buckle is already starting to stretch slightly (and I wear my straps on the loose side). Strap is branded 'Diloy Elite'.

There is an obvious quality difference with my Hirsch Rally Natural but this cost me £39; the regular Hirsch Rally are £32.

Overall for £9.97 I can't fault it; full price @ £19.95 I'd be so so about it. Versus the Hirsch @ £32/£39 - you pays your money and you takes your choice. I might just buy a couple more @ £9.97.
