The yellow kingfisher is the very watch that first attracted me to Christopher Ward about five years ago. The reasons were much the same as you described. The dial to me is the big, big attraction on this, it's just gorgeous in all lighting.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:My latest acquisition from Poland, delivered by my Postman late this morning.
Loving the glint of the starburst dial, enhanced by the convex crystal (much better than the flat crystal on the Trident MkI) and the blasted case finish cries out 'tool watch' - very happy.
Funny you should mention the convex crystal, as it's the reason I was so disappointed in my first C60 - discovering that it had a flat crystal was a big minus to me at the time. It took me a couple of years to warm to the Trident after that, but I now like them both.
Lovely watch mate, but I reckon you can do better than an old khaki NATO.
