Trident Thursday with an oversized colorful sweater I was given as a gift (all of us have one stuck in our closet).

Surely it's too warm in LA for thick sweaters? Watch looks good though.

Having grown-up on the east coast and once lived in SoCal, I was always amazed to see the Northface parkas broken out when the temp hit the 60's F (15C) in LA and San Diego, lol

Back in the late '80s when I would visit my folks in Abu Dhabi around Christmas time, I always marveled at the people wearing heavy fur coats while I was tooling about in shorts and a T-shirt. Thinner blood, I think. They could withstand high temps that caused me to go comatose! :)

Its getting cold guys, and the winds at the foothills are chilly
I did take off the sweater a little while after I started walking, but it was quite cold rightaway when I stepped out of the house. To be fair, I have lived in many places where summer temperatures go up to 40-45C, but I don't think I can easily live there again and am gradually moving towards colder places :)

What's Black or White...and RED all over?!

Image

What's the general consensus of black vs white face on the new Tridents? I bought the white one in the sale last week and I love the brightness (I have too many black watches)...but I think the black one is probably the classier of the two.

Wisdom & insight appreciated.

I am a big fan of white-dialled watches, but of the two above I would choose the black version by a mile.

I'm with downer on this one - I too am a big fan of white dials (currently saving for a C60 600 white dial/black bezel), but the black dial sets off the red bezel much better - although I would not say no to either

That's such a nice color Korkki. So hard to choose between the green and purple, both are marvellous.
