I've returned from a six week holiday in Montana during which my CW C60 black took all the wild west could dish out.

Being back in sunny California, I think a few days wearing the more refined looking Slimline is in oder.

My Speedhawk being worn today, and yesterday, having returned safely from being serviced at CWL bang on schedule of a 14 day turnaround.

Beautifully cleaned and polished it's running smoothly and without any noticeable giant/loss.

Even received compliments from two colleagues of "That's a smart watch. What is it?"

Not the most popular FLE ever made, but one of my favorites.

Today, same as yesterday and the day before.
Boring you say?
Tikka's gone soft you say?
Gone all-quartz you say?
Actually the quartz, much to my surprise, doesn't factor in at all.
It's the look of the thing, that's the thing.
Yesterday I discovered was national poetry day.
Well I'm here to tell you that what I'm the very pleased and proud owner of is sheer poetry in motion.

The sweep second may not match the explosive burst of the kingfisher's back but excites and delights me in the same way.
It catches the sun and stirs my heart. It mourns for summer fading fast, the river bank changing with the seasons.
This is a summer watch, a sunshine watch, shouting with joy and reflected light.
Be gone winter gloom, dark days, short days, wet days and give me hope for the bright burst of spring.
