Nah I dont believe that the C6 is the best seller. Okay I am only guessing because I dont know the real figures but I reckon I can safely bet that the C6 is not the best selling CWL watch. However it is the best at getting flipped. As for the Terminators. Well if I recall only the gold ones were left and seeing as they were the most expensive Gents Watches that CWL offered that was just a little bit understandable. However on that point if you feel you have to resort to and raise comments like that it kind of makes me think you cant hold your own in a discussion dont you think ???

Ouch!
Exactly Village. I think it should have been me that was saying "good grief" to ctafield. Geeez I wonder where we get them sometimes. Yet again a perfectly valid thread descends into chaos. Its starting to feel like TZ UK in here recently which is a real shame.

I have a yellow faced C6 on a rubber strap and think it is a stunning watch with a lovely clear face that seems to pull you in and the yellow is the most perfect yellow. I am a big fan of Breitlings and wanted a yellow faced superocean. When I showed it my wife she simply would not entertain it saying it is not as nice as the kingfisher and she is right. The Kingfisher on a rubber strap has real presence and is comfortable too. Ok in truth I am not a diver but I have worn it whenvere I swim and it works just fine. I am a big big fan of this watch and if an automatic becomes available again I will definitely be ordering one!

This thread started with someone who had fallen out of love with theirs and fair enough, but me ? No way I love mine and it gets as much wrist time as any watch in my collection.

Yep the C6 does it for me. I have two - yellow on SS bracelet and blue on leather strap. I like wearing both of them - not at the same time but might give it a try :)

Careful people, if you say you like a watch that the nice T2 doesn't like, he'll be rather rude and aggressive to you...At least the art of verbal jousting is still alive and well on this forum, even if some aren't very good at it. I like the C6 and I guess I'm lucky. Sorry if those are the words of a, what was the expression...UB

What utter rubbish Bill. It seems however that some in here dont seem to appreciate when someone is man enough to fire back. If you cant take it then dont dish it Bill. I have always regarded my comments in here as fair and balanced. If I felt someone was right I would agree but if not then I would not. Yes if I felt someone was being an idiot I would point it out but I would always justify my reasoning for doing so. It seems though that some in here neither have the intellect or the manners to do the same. It also seems that certain people want to make it personal without justifying the reason. Something obviously has changed in this forum and its not pretty. It really is starting to remind me of Time Zone UK. Go over their and mention Christopher Ward and see the kind of vitriol you will recieve.

Im going to quote ctafield here
ctafield wrote:I think there's definitely a pack mentality that seems to have emerged in this forum of late; jumping on anyone that dare say anything bad (however constructive) about CWL.
It seems to me that going by the way this thread has developed that he is no better and I am also surprised at you Bill. As far as I am concerned this thread was started by me to creat constructive comment to get us an even better diver than the C6. If any of you really think the C6 is destined to be an Icon in the watch world then you are severely deluded so I see no harm in trying to create interest in a better watch. However as soon as I open my mouth some are on the attack. Even the ones who I was not referring to in my replies are so damn nervous that they end up joining in because they are so paranoid they think I might be talking to them. You Bill and many others in here were not like this before and neither was this forum. In the past you could raise points in here and start a discussion but it never descended into chaos in the past. I have not been around here much of late but something has changed and its not for the better. Who is the cause of this nervousness and paranoia ??? That is sad because one of the refreshing things about this forum was that you could talk about the watches without fear of persecution. I was surprised at ctafields comment re pack mentality because I had not experienced it here before but something or someone has instigated it and I can now see it for myself.

I will point out something I read recently in another forum about here and certain individuals. I was surprised at the time because I wasnt aware of what or who they were referring to but Im starting to get an idea now.

I think some of you in here need to sit down and have a rethink because I can see how new blood will get turned off. I for one am now starting to understand just what that person meant. Sadly its a real pity because this was one of the better forums to hang around but it does not seem that way now.

The topic of the thread, which you started is, "Does the C6 Do It For You?"... To which you started the ball rolling by saying, "No". Nothing wrong with that. Nor was there anything wrong with the other people who have said "Yes, I like the C6". Heck, I even threw in a "One did, but one didn't" reply. Yet you seem to think anyone who disagrees with you is deluded? Madness.

No one has ever said it was an Icon watch, or even destined to become one... people just dared to say they liked it. I like mine, but for what it's worth my mate thinks "it looks like cheap junk from Elizabeth Duke" :D

ctafield ????

You never even read my original post. You started prattling on about Alpha Watches and Sub Homage watches when I never even referred to such a thing and you expect me to take you seriously. Right there with your mistake you made people think I was talking about something different from what my post actually said. I can only conclude you merely skimmed through my post , saw the word Rolex Submariner and went off on a crazy tangent re Alpha's & Rolex Homages that was not even part of the topic or question raised. I only mentioned the Rolex Sub as it is an iconic diver but I could just have easily mentioned the Omega Bond Seamaster or even the Seiko Monster not to mention many more. Nowhere did I ever mention "lets do a Rolex Homage" but you just farted hot air on what I was actually suggesting. There is no delusion here my old son but next time before you open your mouth think before you speak. You might impress the n00bs with your tosh but you dont impress me. Before you even think about replying to this one have a think again because I will shoot you down in flames.

You just do that Bill. Your obviously one of the tits that person referred to who wants to rule the roost in their own little club. Geeez you leave for a bit and this is the kind of crap that develops. The pair of you should hang your heads in shame. I will tell you what though. I will be the one thats done but I warn you now. I will still be watching and if I see just one of you get out of line with someone else in here you will see me come in and blast you with both barrels and show you both up for the fools you really are.

Idiots.

Is that it , is that all you can say in reply ??? How many neurons in your brain fire at one time? Is it one or is it two? What a loser you must be lmao. Yup as I suspected. Not ready to play with the big boys yet.

Ah well you might have ruined a perfectly good thread but at least you gave me a laugh in the end. Remember though. I will be watching so dont go stepping out of line with someone you think is weaker than yourself. Mind you what am I talking about. Im not sure that would be possible lol.

P.S. Was it Village ???? I actually thought I handled myself very well lol. Someone has to put these idiots in their place now and again especially as they dont seem to contribute very much in here themselves from what I can see. I presume they got too used to being top dogs in here and people like me must make them feel threatened in some way. Oh well thats up to them to feel the inadequate ones. Maybe I should just go and join TZ UK instead. That should be a laugh lol. Anyway its a Saturday night and its time for beer.

Sorry, you're right. I probably wasted the 5 seconds it took me to reply. I will never get those (or these) back :(

I'm serious now; I've been using the internet for a long time and I have never EVER come across anyone so offensive as you, so please, have another few for your score if it makes you feel big and clever.

BTW, good suggestion re TZ-UK btw. Cya.
