CWEC IS IN

Post by Jkpa »

Sometimes, a watch comes up for sale and you must go for it. That was the case with this beauty. They’re few and far between.

CWEC 2.0. 40mm of 600m rated diver with some incredible looks go to with it.

Nice watch. The colour accents are tastefully done. Chronometer to boot.... What's there not to like??

Good find! The CWEC appeals as it doesn’t scream but is a subtly different style.

I really like it, it's similar to the snow Leopard in color scheme but diver style! What a lovely watch!

Not a fan of these hands on a white dial, legibility issues for me. I’ve sold all my CWs with this combo.

However, I could make an exception for this one.

A colour combination that I would love to have and continue to hope that CW will release it again sometime.

Congratulations - I saw your 'guess what's coming' post on CWE, but I've found this before delving back into Facebook, so I'll say it here

The CWEC is a lovely design, and the limited and group specific nature of it make it even more special in my opinion (CW fans really are the best, aren't they?)

That dial is incredibly clean. Very nice piece. First one I've seen.

That’s really nice, as others have said a really clean design.

Very cool. Does someone have a rough guess of how many unique models CW has produced over the past 20 years?

Better than a rough guess. Have a browse…

Great looking Trident. It does remind me of the quite rare white dial blue ceramic bezel Trident mk2 colour combo that I owned at one time, that was a slightly too large 43mm though, the CWE a much better size imo.

That Mk2 white/blue was also sold in a 38mm which I've been trying to find for ages through a WTB and elsewhere. As you say the 43mm Mk2 was too big IMO also.

The components of a general or limited release from CW of white dial/blue bezel 40mm are already there in the Trident 300 range.
