My C7 Rapide must have made it out just in time. DHL dropped it off yesterday.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you have done to your C7?
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

I sent it in for having a sloppy second hand and it came back the same way. The "exchange" watch has the same backlash/skipping problem. I went through my 7 or 8 running quartz watches and the Japanese quartz movements were pretty much spot on with regard to hitting the minute markers. However, the two watches with Swiss quartz movements were sloppy like the Rapide.watchaholic wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 10:42 pmIf you don't mind me asking, what did you have done to your C7?
Because the I really like the looks and feel of the Rapide, and it was cheap at 50% off, I'm going to learn to live with another sloppy Swiss movement.
I should add that Megan from customer support was very patient with me as I had a couple other matters going on at the same time. I appreciate her help.

I wonder if they considered setting up a few of the Technicians to work from home ?
Appreciate that there would be some logistical problems - access to spares etc, but no need for complex tools like lathes etc ?
Dunno, feasible ?
