Re: CW Nearly New section
I have a VW4 and it's a lovely watch. It's better in the flesh that in the pictures, the colours especially the green are richer than the pictures and the chrome sub-dial hands and detailing really pop. Quartz COSC movement is incredibly accurate, I set mine up three months ago against time.is clock and it is still spot on so won't be setting it again this year at least.
I don't give a bugger about the constant comments on here about being 'not a proper watch' which was an unfortunate error of Hello's website not CW's and was obviously quickly withdrawn. There will always be quartz watches in my collection.
My advice is if you like the look of it go for it as it is a bargain at these prices (I got mine half price).

Re: CW Nearly New section
This automatic quartz COSC is along the same lines as the instructions I once received telling me how to operate the screw-down crown and set the date on my automatic Slimline. How hard can it be?Somebody clever but I can't remember who wrote: We learn from history that we do not learn from history.

I guess the person updating the website is probably just a coder who knows very little about the product they are listing.st-rider wrote:IMO CW now sailing close to the wind legally with their misleading (and incorrect) descriptions. C70 VW4 Limited £309 instead of £579 !
Tempted. Does anyone here own one ?
Someone looking at that without the experience or looking for a gift for someone may be misled.
This is on top of the rose gold titanium wr 600 watch.

Re: CW Nearly New section
If only that were the case. The phrase "proper watch" was repeated in the telephone interview with Mike France. Unfortunately it's CW shooting themselves in the foot, without the bearded assistance of Hello.nigelb001 wrote:I don't give a bugger about the constant comments on here about being 'not a proper watch' which was an unfortunate error of Hello's website not CW's and was obviously quickly withdrawn

I wonder if the person who bought the one of a kind titanium rose gold 600m WR C65 will be delighted when they find out it's not all it seems - misrepresentation of goods act?

Nobody's bought it.Tyke wrote:I wonder if the person who bought the one of a kind titanium rose gold 600m WR C65 will be delighted when they find out it's not all it seems - misrepresentation of goods act?
It was pulled from sale by CWL, along with the two C70 VW4s. Should reappear in due course with a correct description.

Re: CW Nearly New section
I've read the past posts and I just wanted to say that I think the NN section is a great idea, I've just purchased my 2nd CW watch. Just purchased C60 Trident on the rubber strap and also used the MHD16 discount code so all in all got the watch for £207.00 for a trident????????? This will go nicely with my C70 BRG limited edition.

Nothing 'insider information' about it.
I sent a constructive email to the team at CWL about lunchtime on Saturday and received a reply within an hour to tell me it would be sorted.
Simples.

My good man, why can't you be in an apoplectic rage, venting on here for reasons based purely on hearsay and conjecture.

I guess better from you than receiving a notice from the ASA or trading standards.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:...

I did think about it and sending them a message. However, remembered Mike France did say they don't want any help from the forum so then thought I'd leave them to it. You makes your bed and all that.

Re: CW Nearly New section
I notified them about the C65 issue on Friday evening using the appropriate website issues thread on here as we have been requested to do. As they check that studiously I didn't see the need to take any further action.
