Today I received a message saying that due to the speed of the sale the order cannot be fulfilled.

Do I want a 20% on any full price core watch or a refund? Whilst seems a kind getsure, the order was for a brand new twelve at 40% discount so nothing will really compete.

I want a refund and suggest they should learn to run a sale properly - maybe not even taking the cash until processing, or managing the stock on the site in a professsional manner.

Maybe it is best after all, as I honestly wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them in dealing honestly and promptly with a return if I had decided to send it back.

Hopefully not too many others received the same.
Same for me with a 40% discount on a C12.

Order placed at about 15:05 yesterday.

This afternoon received oversold email!

Extremely grateful to the people in this forum for enabling my first CW purchase. I got the email, but it went straight to spam. Shoutout to Guy, Kip and the rest of you lind folk.

My watch hasn't shipped but I'm in the Mountain time zone. Here the sun rises a couple of days after it does in the UK.

Something's been bothering me. Why were so many watches blocked from purchase? Got the "Your are not eligible for placing this product" message on a bunch of products. I really liked a black C1000. Couldn't buy it.

My hunch is that this had something to do with the country from which the purchase was being made. Is that true? I could be wrong.

Most odd
Placed the order for a watch, given an order number but didn’t receive any emails.
Checked on my account nothing showing
Checked on my credit card and payment pending
Waited until today and checked again no change.
Just checked again this evening and now nothing showing on my credit card so assuming that they’ve messed up the order and no watch incoming
Discovered but I’ll just shrug my shoulders and move on
Not going to lose any sleep over it

I tried multiple special editions. All told me not available after I had them in the cart. I figured it was a restriction placed on US customers. I grabbed a 38mm white dial trident as that was also on my short list. Too bad about those special editions.

The next sale is in January? I’ve still got items on my short list.

I really feel like this is unfair. Every single dealing i've had with CW customer service has been absolutely fantastic. You're suggesting they would lie and drag their heels if you try to return an item. Can you explain what makes you think they'd do this?

My view is based upon my own early experience with them and a number of examples on the forum where it is like hitting a brick wall when someone at CW has made a mistake or a wrong decision which requires escalating.

Their model is based upon integrity and trust and a number of occasions this has shown to be tested, whether on purpose or simply as a result of errors in their operation or misinformation. As you cannot be guaranteed to speak to someone or turn up as you could in retail it is a risk. This is exactly why I would only take that risk in a sale at 40% off.

This sale caught me totally off guard on Wednesday haha. I just happened to be in my emails after work around 1700 and I spotted the preview access email. Unfortunately, being late to the feeding frenzy some of the more exotic pieces in my price range had gone by that time.

Initially, I just ordered a Bader bracelet for my current TP300 (white dial), but as I continued browsing, I spotted a Trident GMT 300 (white dial) on a Bader strap that got me thinking: two birds, one stone... I'm now awaiting dispatch and delivery of the GMT 300, which is a nice little upgrade for me. I was always interested in the longer power reserve and GMT function.

Does anyone else think that the bezels on the white dial and blue dial GMT 300s should be swapped? I think the blue/white with a white dial is a little overly white, and the blue/blue bezel would contrast nicely against the white dial.

I ordered my Orange Lumiere and received a confirmation email at 4.10pm two days ago. There was only one listing on the page which was still there for quite a while after I completed my payment. It seems at least two other forum members also ordered one of these. The strange thing is, in the case of other watches such as the Green ti Twelve, there were two separate listings for the same watch. I'm beginning to think there might have been only one Orange Lumiere available and a cancellation email is coming? I would happily take the 20% discount on a new watch if offered!

I just bought the cielo Bel Canto that I’ve been banging on about for the past few days. I added the matching strap too. I’ll pop up a picture on here when it arrives.
