Did you pay the extra for next day postage?

Reason I ask, is that it wasn’t shown as an option when I ordered a sale watch at about 15:05 yesterday.

No dispatch email yet. Maybe indicating that orders are not necessarily processed in order?

Unless of course you paid extra for quicker postage.

Neil
Nope; Standard Delivery was the only option Neil and, as mentioned in the Terms & Conditions topic "Next-day delivery and express shipping are unavailable during the Sale period for all orders, including non-sale items."

Maybe there's something to do with mine being a 'New' watch, of which CW had / have several available, being pre-prepared for Despatch.

Pure supposition on my part :-k :-k

My Twelve has been despatched and already have the DHL shipping information so that's positive. Straps are 'preparing for despatch' so I expect they'll make it.

My Sealander GMT however will not be making it to me. CW contacted me to let me know due to the "speed of the sale" that the system glitched and sold me something not available. A bit of a disappointment, but they reached out quickly and courteously.

I ordered mine at last night, receiving CW's Confirmation of Order email at 20:53hrs and have received a Despatched email a few minutes ago at 13:00hrs.

Here's hoping it leaves The Yard later this afternoon.

C63 Sealander GMT 39mm Hunter Green/Silver. It was on the black/orange hybrid strap.

C63 GMT Sapphire LE available now if anyone is looking for one of those. Pretty sweet piece, just no COSC paperwork to go with it.
Thanks for the heads-up, I managed to snag it! Fingers crossed it fares better than my last attempt… a C63 GMT that turned up with a movement about as lively as a Sunday roast after a nap. To be fair, CW’s customer service were absolute stars and sorted the return without fuss. Here’s hoping this one keeps better time than my luck! If it does, this will be my first CW watch.

Received the dispatch email 2h30 ago, and already got the DHL delivery notification for tomorrow by end of day.

Definitely a whole different experience compared to the early Bel Canto buyers.

Placed an order and received a sale confirmation at 15:33.

Today I received a message saying that due to the speed of the sale the order cannot be fulfilled.

Do I want a 20% on any full price core watch or a refund? Whilst seems a kind getsure, the order was for a brand new twelve at 40% discount so nothing will really compete.

I want a refund and suggest they should learn to run a sale properly - maybe not even taking the cash until processing, or managing the stock on the site in a professsional manner.

Maybe it is best after all, as I honestly wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them in dealing honestly and promptly with a return if I had decided to send it back.

Hopefully not too many others received the same.

Ditto, order placed very early in the sale yesterday and order rescinded this afternoon. 40mm Twelve with bracelet generously discounted by 40%.

However, it should be noted that items are 'nearly new' and not brand new as suggested above (likely to be in 'as new condition' but not a given as they maybe marked in someway. Am I disappointed, YES but several dealings with customer service and first negative. I do agree there must be a better system whereby they cannot oversell and hope they put this in place ASAP.

Onwards and upwards, will keep an eye on the remainder of the sale and what will be will be. Money will go on a watch whether it be with CW or a n other.

Keep your heads up.

C.

^^^^ I presume we're talking about steel The Twelves being oversold, as the Aurora Green The Twelve 40 (Ti) appears to be still available.

Items marked as nearly new said this in the description. The sale had a mixture of nearly new and new.
There were and still are Twelve models for sale which are new but are 36mm.

Nearly new are around 20% off and current models.
New items at 40% off are brand new and will likely be discountnued models or colours so the discount is greater.

They will also have a different SKU for nearly new in the order/warranty card.

Yes, the steel unfortunately (grey dial). Not a fan of the dial colours of the Ti (or the higher price!).
