Likewise my father and I raced a Caterham for several years so this would be a great piece to own - all at the Lotus 7 club were a fantastic bunch! Also I visited Caterhams new factory last week - very impressive and only made me want one again more! Prices have changed a little though…. ;)

Let’s hope the glitch is soon resolved and we can at least buy the watch!

I raced Caterhams for over a decade in the official champs. Now I commentate on the live streams! Small world.

This was my first time participating in a CW sale and boy was it odd - especially with not knowing what to expect. Lol
Not having a show all button to click complicated things because I was hoping to ctrl + f and search for what I was after. The filtering was hard to navigate while I was trying to figure out what was going on.
ctrl + click to open a couple tabs had a few of them in pounds (I’m in the states) and caused some confusion as well.

Ultimately ended up getting what I was after - 38mm white dial twelve. Quite excited to have it pop up and gotten through on it.
Now I just need to find a 23mmrubber strap for it!
Which initially there was only red, but later on orange was added, as well as green (which wasn’t discounted).

Odd sale to me, but very pleased!

Just logged on to see the sale had gone live a few hours ago.

I had no intention of buying, but since I had half a bag of sand lying around after the recent sale of my C60 Trident GMT Pro 600, I thought, what the heck, that 40mm mineral blue Twelve looks nice on black rubber.

A quick YouTube video later an I found a guy trying the whole Twelve range on in Maidenhead including this exact watch. That convinced that it was the watch for me.

I like that one! Price looked strong as well.
The gray dial twelve was probably my second option today. I think there were 3 of them available initially, all for great prices.

Wow - Academy/Roadsports?! Sadly I am going to to 2004/5 and 6! Some extremely enjoyable times with some fine people - I am sure you found the same!

Sale watch now taken down - hopefully someone nabbed it - well done if that’s the case! :(

The URL includes a value of the number of items to show - alter that to a number above the quantity in the sale and the whole page will load in one go and then you can use the browser to search - fastest method

Welp checking back in and it appears a lot of the items have been spoken for! I'm really happy I scooped up a black Lumiere earlier, I'm still shocked they were in the sale at all! It was my favorite looking CW, but I didn't really want to buy it for full price. Very happy my first CW is the Lumiere, it seems like a nice mix of everything.

The item I intended to get, the Dune C65, I did not scoop up unfortunately. I'm unsure how I feel about it...I told myself if I check back in later in the day and it's still there I'll get it, if not then it was fate to let me just buy one watch today and not two. After all, it'll be much easier to convince my wife getting one watch is better than two :) . But a piece of me was still hoping I'd see one of the Dune C65s left and I...would have to face her wrath, but at least I acquired both CWs I wanted.

Am I too addicted if I'm looking at the new Dune C65s and debating just grabbing it new? I could wait for the winter sale too I guess...

Can someone inform me if today was the "pre-sale" and there's more items to come? I'm reading that they add more afterwards... Is that right?

Yes. Today has been the 24hrs VIP Preview for those subscribed to CW's mailing.

The 'Public' sale is likely to start 15:00hrs BST tomorrow, Thursday, with CW drip feeding new / additional stock on an ad hoc basis over the following days.

Keep your eyes peeled.

Omg! So there's a chance I can still get a Dune! Wow! Thanks for the info! I was thrilled to get the Lumiere already!

Fwiw posting the link in sales corner was, for me, fantastic. By the time I received the invitation email at 15:03 I'd already bought two watches.

Feels a bit too good to be true but hope this approach is repeated in the future!

Thanks for the feedback. Allowing people to post the link on the open forum meant that previously it was visible to anybody; it’s public domain. Sales Corner is of course a restricted area that can only be viewed by members. Helps to keep it a little more exclusive. It’s pleasing to hear that you were able to get what you wanted.
