Followed your lead and put mine on my Ombré. The textured strap really brings something to the patina!

That's crazily good Rich, especially in the second photo. Top notch.

Now that works very well indeed... These straps do have an "old" feel to them which works nicely

That's the same as I received and appears to be as it was advertised with black rather than contrasting stitching. I think the vintage in this case refers to the leather texture whereas the strap you link to is smoother.
Rich.

I don't remember how it was displayed in the sale at all. I was hoping for the same design as was originaly with the C65 Tridnet Diver... mea culpa then...

This was how it was advertised in the sale last week (screenshot). I do like them, they seem slightly "aged" and suit my C65 Black Gold, but of course it depends on the watch and individual tastes

I thought it might be a little shinier I think. It must be old stock or an old design, as it only says 22 on the back, with no markings other than the embossed twin flags My camel vintage oak appears to have a slightly more glossy finish, and does say "Italian Vintage Oak Leather" on the back. The sides of both straps are finished in a similar way. Maybe it's not quite as thickly padded. Perhaps I could dress it with some shoeshine!

The pictures posted by @shaggy just above are exactly what I received.

They do seem to be old stock and definitely a dull "aged" finish... works well on my two watches I think, although I am now re-considering a camel strap for the C65 316L LE...

Yes, mine both look exactly the same as those photos too

I'm not so sure about old stock as the aged finish is just that, an aged finish.

Moreover, I seem to have a V_2 variant with '22' on the long section and 'Italian Vintage Oak Leather' on the short/buckle section.

Amend the above!

I bought two of these straps and the other one has '22' with the twin flag motif on both sections.

The top sides look identical.

Same as both of mine

I like how it works on my C65 416L LE so far

I suspect this Apex was originally a sale piece that was cancelled: https://www.christopherward.com/int/div ... B0-HO.html#

They might want to revise the copy that says it is good down to 1000m.....

Where's the 1000m? I'm not seeing it.

1,000ft yes, as that is, near enough, 300m / 30ATM.

Ah yes. I'm scrolling on my phone and didn't open up the 'more' but. Sorry.

The Technical Data is correct though at 30ATM.

As you spotted it, perhaps you should let CW know.
