JasperCat wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:43 pm Well these arrived (from the sale) this morning and I can't decide which one I want to wear first :D

The C65 Black Gold looks and feels so elegant and I think will look even more so on the black leather strap arriving next week (also from the sale).

The C65 Super Compressor looks even better for real, than any photos I've seen and such an awesome watch... this will be great for summer holidays (fingers crossed).

I am well happy with these sale purchases
Yes - I would have bought a black gold. I think it's a lovely design. However, I wanted one on a bracelet to mix and match with my c65 handwound.
That's makes sense and both that yellow and blue look lovely (I was going to get the blue back in the summer sale originally, but got the Cranwell instead). That yellow is really stunning

There is no gold bracelet for the C65 Black Gold, but I think it looks good on the black tropic and will look even better on the incoming black leather... I should also then be able to use the black tropic on the C65 Super Compressor, should I tire of the bracelet :D

I received my C60 prototype yesterday. It was slightly different to how it looked on the website, but still really pleased with it.

Seems to be an abyss model but with white indices / hands and bezel markings which make it a really easy to read watch.ImageImage

I think I prefer that watch with the white indices/hands

Congrats, nice looking watch. TBH it’s more a darker dial ‘standard’ C60 variant to me than an Abyss. The white, legible hands move it from the Abyss variant for me

Gareth, I love the red second hand! Well done.

Well it looks like I'm a bit late to the party and missed the sale. Anyone know when the next sale is likely to occur?

Same boat. No idea what is happening with mine, though not despatched until Jan 13, but we can certainly "rely" on German Customs.....Have you heard something from DHL then?

I called DHL 3 times since Januar 13. I got the same answer every call, quote "Everything is ok, all documents are here, it will be done tomorrow". The Brexit is a desaster for the import right now (this week). Also CW addressed the parcel to "C.O. CHRISTOPHER WARD LONDON" instead of my name. That was also a huge problem for the german customs..

They don't make it easy, do they! But at least everything seems to be there. We can certainly expect that shipments in and out of UK will be disrupted until new procedures filter through and the bureaucracy will take their time about that.

Nothing to do then but wait.....frustrating as it is.

Good luck, hope to hear that yours comes through quickly now.

I'd keep checking back on the Sale page https://www.christopherward.com/sale.
It is likely that there will be some returns that'll no doubt appear at some point.
Currently there are 3 C65 SC's, the "Oh Deere" * and a C1 Morgan.

* I actually really like the C8 'Al Deere' but just can't justify buying it even at 50% off.

Yes, worth checking back each day (or more often if keen), as a large new stock was added middle of last week (returns perhaps or new items) and as said, there will be likely a bunch of returns that will make an appearance... Not mine I hasten to add
