Thanks for the heads up, just ordered on of those black vintage oak straps too, for the C65 Black Gold... the black tropic it comes with will go nicely on the C65 Super Compressor if I want to swap out the bracelet

Out of interest, I was following an ebay item which just finished - a new c65 yellow LE on leather, which has just not attracted any bids at £550. I'm not sure what the sale price was, probably just over £400, but it shows there aren't guaranteed mega profits from sale items.

There's a screenshot of all the sale items much earlier in this thread... that one went for £397.50... you're right, very little is being made on these watches being flipped onto Ebay. They might get lucky with a very rare item, or perhaps a high price one that sells for half price, but it seems a lot of effort for little return :?

Having said that, if they make a normal retail markup and have enough items (not just CW) then it's no different to any other retail "business" I suppose.

Darn, for some reason I was sure a bunch of watches would pop up at 5pm on Friday. Was sitting here ready to refresh away :)

The straps were just added. I think they're a great buy. I have a camel vintage oak, and the black will look just as good. In fact just about any half price CW strap is worth getting, IMO

On eBay, there's currently a c65 vintage trident in blue on a QR bracelet with 3 hrs to go at £340. That's a great buy. I paid more than that for one on leather in the last sale, and it's a lovely watch. It will probably get more love near the end.

Just a small heads up. The other lot on CWE pointed out that the length of these straps is 82mm not 124mm, so may possibly be small length.

However, the stock code SCST indicates standard length and someone else on there said they called CW and were told they were standard length (up to 21.5cm wrist).

I’m going to wait until mine are delivered and if wrong, then will send back of course 🤞

Those are nice looking watches, and really good value with the mesh
I also have several million spare straps lying around to use with it if I don’t mesh with the mesh. ;)
That mesh bracelet works very well with the C60 white dialled divers. On a 38mm MKII C60, awesome.

82mm sounds funny. Do they mean 124mm plus 82mm. That would make sense wouldn't it. My camel seems to be about 120/80 stamped 22/ST

The black ones are all gone now. The 22mm camel oak leather is still on the normal listing, and says 124mm. I just took mine off the watch to measure it carefully, and the longer part is 124mm to the tip.

Yes, that would make sense and the stock code indicates "standard", so I'm going to keep the order (I've gone for two) and see. Hopefully standard size and all's well

Either way, they've sold out now anyway seemingly :problem:

One of the CWE Group contacted CW.

Typo on the website. They are Standard length (82mm / 124mm I believe).

Website will be corrected overnight.

Well this just sold for £403 including post, so there's no profit made on that one.
