I picked up the same watch, new for £417 so rather pleased. I agree, this ‘tropic’ strap is far better than the hybrids that I’ve had before. I thought the same that the new watch was better value overall as the saving was small. During sale, I bought the blue Beast and a yellow 319L LE.
I later took a punt on another, but still showing as “Being prepared for despatch” since 6 Jan. I actually bought 2 by mistake due to getting an error message during checkout. I had to ring up to cancel one of them, so hopeful that the first went through ok!!
I didn’t mention it, as some thought buying more than 1 of a brand was wrong.
To give you a clue - if you add the first two, then the third. You could make a tenuous stab at the Romanian flag

Due to the Covid restrictions in the UK and the extreme success of this sale, being the most units sold in a single day, by CW delays are inevitable in the shipping department. CW has a capacity that they can work at so it may take a week or so to get caught up.
Add to this several people who tried to massively overbuy units against the stated terms and conditions on the website.
The website performed quite well during the sale, but there does seem to be some technical glitches with auto email notifications. CW is investigating. In the meantime CW is forging ahead. The glitches also showed up, mostly with the prototypes for some reason, that caused a few of these to be oversold. CW is sorting and those affected will be contacted.
Because of the attempted overbuying of units, some units may well appear back on the website at any time so keep checking.

I just noticed 5 for sale went up to 7, although one of these is shoeing "Null"
edit - they are changing a bit. There was originally a C60 chrono (I think), but that's gone, and now there's 4 SC Black Sand all with different straps. Still 7 in total

I bought one, and received it today. Limited Edition, handwound. I haven't unstickered it, but the yellow seems to have has a lustre or sparkly finish like a gold. I am pretty sure I saw the same watch on sale after I bought mine.
