I did manage to get an Invicta 1953 from their European site, as I had an email saying they had a few available at 120euro, so that's a bonus.

JCat, there is another status before ‘being prepared for dispatch’. Perhaps they hadn’t progressed beyond that. For info I’m still in ‘being prepared for dispatch’ and had the email confirmation. Good enough for me

Ah ok, I had “Pre-Order” until yesterday and then it changed to “Being Prepared for Dispatch”, so I’m guessing if it was out of stock that would have been the time to stop the order and advise.

Hopefully it will be fine... they’re just busy!

In the run up to Christmas I had a number of items with DPD dispatched on Friday and scheduled for delivery on Monday, that actually turned up on Saturday.

We live in hope.

My purchases were at this status, then I got a despatched email, and shortly after a notification of the following day delivery, by DPD. DPD are great I have found. They give you a one hour window, and you can track the delivery van to your door virtually.

CW's customer support has confirmed that the black sand (brown) dial SCs in the sale do have the slightly offset text on the dial as pictured on their respective product pages. Other color dials have been corrected and the pics on their product pages show the corrected dials.

I read somewhere else, on another thread, that someone had confirmation from CW that they are indeed the ones with the mis-aligned text.

DPD are brilliant, always within the one hour window they give and as you say, excellent tracking in app too
