That Al Deere will be needing a service by the time it sells.
I actually like the Al Deere apart from the fact its a hand winder, I am lazy, if it was an auto I would buy it
Please buy it. It’s been there so long it’s left me with screen burn

I'm sure that there are a lot of people who like it as well.

I don't dislike it but it just amuses me that every sale seems to end up with the Al Deere still there.

Apparently there's a large number available since they're discontinuing that color dial. Also the pics show those dials with the off center (left shifted) Super Compressor text which has been corrected on current versions of the other dial colors. Haven't seen confirmation whether the pics are accurate or if the ones being closed out may actually have the corrected text positioning. Anyone know for sure? :?
Just saw the following email from CW on another forum which confirms the black sand (brown) dial SCs on sale do have the shifted text.

Thank you for your email.

The Black Sand Super Compressor watch that you have ordered in the sale is as per the images. The text on the dial will be as per the images shown for the watch.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

A thought re the email not getting through...

What domain is the email address on? I manage a charity database and emails sent from that database system to emails of @hotmail.com don't get through, not even to user's junk mail. It is like the email provider just doesn't like the email address, no bounce nothing just doesn't work. If we alias the user using a forwarding address so x@ourdomaiin - > x@hotmail.com it works...

Just a thought....

Re the sale, if it the email, and the follow up email today... Resisted due to lack of funds despite 3 possibles showing up....

I’ve encountered exactly the same issue for emails sent from our scout group email to hotmail emails, so there may be something in that, if the recipients are using hotmail...

I didn't spot the off centre text on the c65. I think that would annoy me too much. Gorgeous watch otherwise, though.

I must say it would bother me less if they stated it in the sale page. I mean technically they are right, you get the watch as pictured, but if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have seen it from the pictures. I would have definitely seen it on the watch in person though as I like to check them in detail.

I feel like it is weird to not state the fact that these watches have a slight alignment issue and just market them as a great deal 40% OFF for people that don't know or care. Yeah it's a small thing, but some will be bothered more by it, some less or not at all and some will probably notice it when it's to late.

As for me, I bought it before I read about the alignment issue today, but will check in person if it does bother me or not.

Does the super compressor bezel click or just twist? And does it have enough resistance to keep from turning during normal wrist wear?

The biggest problem with internal bezels has always been their propensity to move when you don’t want them to. I’m curious how well CW has addressed my concern.

Features (from the CW Website); Internal rotating bezel (120 clicks) with matte white, chamfered edge

Enough of an answer; short of someone who owns one commenting?
