Re: CW-Forum Special Edition
In my oppinion the COSC certificate is useless!
- An ETA 2824-2 can easily be regulated by a watchmaker that it runs within the limited values of the COSC certificate.
- The regulation is made before the movement comes into the case. So there can be deviations after assembling.
- A movement changes its speed depending on how the watch is worn. So it can be that the regulation for the COSC is useless after wearing the watch some times.
For me the COSC certificate is only an advertising with an invidous price!
But that is only my oppinion....

Nico, I completely agree, COSC had limited meaning 20 years ago or something like that, but nowadays, all my ETA 2824-2 run well within COSC specification.

Yes, that is the current list. I will start the dialogue with CW, and as soon as we can achieve agreement on the variations, I will start the poll.

Re: CW-Forum Special Edition
I had a talk with CW, he is still willing to cooperate, and he sees possibilities for all current options!
I have to make some final arrangements, and think a bit about the voting-process, but somewhere next week voting will start for the Limited CW!

And another update: the voting will be sponsored by Kish.nl (http://www.kish.nl); one of the voters will win a Gisoni Parata watchcase (normal price: €99,95)!

Hi,
I don't know if it is now too late for another idea for the LE, but I think it would be nice to have a signature of Mr Ward engraved on the dial or the back of the LE watch.

I know that idea from "Sinn" watches in Germany. If you wanted a customizing, Mr. Sinn, the owner of the company, engraved the rotor ore the case back with his signature.
Today Mr. Sinn is the owner of "Guinand-watches". I think you can still get a signature...
I Like that idea!

Re: CW-Forum Special Edition
Me too!
In fact how about, hand wound, display back plus some nice movement decoration or even a CW signature?
Thoughts anyone?
