Did anyone take some screen shots of the red sapphire description? If so could you share?

Maybe they found from the prototypes that the red sapphire was hard to produce or had other difficulties, preventing putting it into mass production? We haven't seen a red sapphire in any guise I don't think, so perhaps this is the case. No inside knowledge, just speculating.

As a welshman, the red was quite appealing, I must say. :)

That actually makes sense. The cost of production may have made it not feasible. Interesting.

It could well have been cost Steve as they discontinued the red bezel C60 due to higher cost.

Plus the powder coating.....
When I looked at it, my son put it on and being a Star Wars fan, immediately named it "Darth Ward" i hooe that sticks with the new owners as it made me smile a lot! And the watch defo suits the name!

A question regarding the C65 Chrono prototypes, would the bracelet from the in production model work? I would assume so, but thought I would ask some experts here. I want to order the bracelet for this watch.

I wonder how long it will take for the C63 Sealanders to be snapped up?

According to the specs on those sale pages, these are both identical to the "normal" C65 Chrono... height, lug to lug, weight etc... so I would say yes it should work
