It's nice you can't quote other posts on Facebook. The nested quotation is getting out of hand on this and many other forums.

If anyone is on Google+, I just created a new CW Enthusiasts community there. Google+ is so much nicer to use. Also integrates nicely with Google Photos.

Tell me about it. The bane of my life. Pure laziness. It took me about 10 seconds to cut your post down to the bit I actually wanted to draw attention to. Too much trouble for some people, I suspect.

Couldn't agree more! ;)

I must admit, I have no real issue with the quote system. However Tapatalk truncates them significantly so it is probably not as big an issue as on the website.

Another nice thing about FB/G+ is the Like feature. Sometimes you just want to show your appreciation of a picture/post even when you don't have anything interesting to add to the conversation. Wish this forum had this feature..

Previous versions of Tapatalk had that facility, even on this forum. People were using it too. Two downsides though; likes were not visible on the website and the biggie - it's no longer available! Whether that's due to a Tapatalk update or a forum change I don't know.

Much easier to post pics on FB too. Overall, it's a much more random, relaxed environment.

I do wonder if this Facebook page is the cause of the seemingly plummeting number of new posts on the forum. No evidence at all, but the number of unread posts I see in the morning seems to be shrinking by the day.

Just a quiet time I think. It'll pick up with the autumn new releases.

Agreed.

Moreover, whilst there are a 'hard core' of Enthusiasts who are both on the Forum and the FB Group, there are a significant number of FB Enthusiasts who are not on the forum and, interestingly are much more widely spread 'Worldwide'.
