Re: CW Enthusiasts Facebook page
Great to hear, we created the group with the intent of a making a easy going place for people to share a bit of banter and show off their watches. Seems to have been received well with over 600 people joining in a couple of months.
We encourage people to join the forum when we can and regularly sign post this site for those who aren't already members.

Some of the fun, for those of us who are on both the Facebook Enthusiasts and the Forum, is to connect the real persona to forum alta ego.

It is easy to make the connection between the Facebook postings and those under a forum name here - particularity when the same pic is posted on both on the same day!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:Some of the fun, for those of us who are on both the Facebook Enthusiasts and the Forum, is to connect the real persona to forum alta ego.

I think I even noticed someone on the Facebook page that left the forum in a huff a couple of years ago!

Definitely one of the best things about it is the ease of loading pics, which in turn leads to lots of nice pics to look at all in the one placenordwulf wrote:Not a fan of Facebook. On the plus side, it is easy to snap a picture and share with the group.

Re: CW Enthusiasts Facebook page
Is horology ever discussed on the CW enthusiasts Facebook page or do folk just tend to post pics of the watch they are wearing? Only been a member a couple of weeks, so difficult to tell.
Just wondering whether discussion about watches has migrated to the Facebook group, as there currently seem to be very few new watch discussion threads on the forum at the moment.

Re: CW Enthusiasts Facebook page
Sometimes discussions take place. Seen something tonight about watches in a similar price range to CW. But mainly it is pictures as it is so easy to upload them to Facebook.nbg wrote:Is horology ever discussed on the CW enthusiasts Facebook page or do folk just tend to post pics of the watch they are wearing? Me too. I like the immediacy of posting replies, scrolling through posts. With 5 working days to retirement I'm obviously part of the facebook generation.
