The C6 uses a #371 battery. Although battery life can vary considerably, a new battery, in a new watch, without complications can last up to 5 years. Lithiums can last up to 7. Subsequent batteries will generally only last 2-3 years. Chronographs and other complications can/will dramatically alter the lifespans, depending on usage.

Thanks Kip, can you get a lithium replacement or if you get factory to fit do you still only get 2-3 years?

The yellow C60 Kingfisher Auto was my first CW purchase. Lovely watch and definitely a keeper, fantastic looker and glad to see these beauties increasing In value because of their collectability. It is a slippery slope though as I'm currently trying to get the whole set. :D

If you mean, can you replace a silver oxide battery with a lithium battery, then no. The litiums are a different shape and size.

Subsequent battery changes don't last as long due to movements becoming worn and dirty. It takes more power to keep them going strong. It is not usually the fault of the batteries, assuming they are fresh.

i'd been eyeing that burnt orange kingfisher like forever...only 100 produced though, which explains why i see so few, even on watch forums...
