I think there are still reviewers around who haven’t ‘researched’ CW enough. Sometimes there’s still an odd phrase here and there that gives that away:

best watch at this price level ’...
To be honest I don’t think CW will ever be greatly impressed by this sort of faint praise. Their bracelets, I think, put them well into
the next price level. Build quality too. Finishing. Innovation, or at least use of interesting industry materials or techniques. It’s not just about whether you like the logo or not, and that’s still too easy for reviewers to call on.
So I voted for CW for the following reasons. I have owned an alpinist (for a very short time). Compared with whatever CW watch I was wearing at the time the build quality and finishing were notably lower. It was the first time I had held up another watch to a CW and really paid attention to comparing different aspects of the two. I came away very impressed by CW.
