Well I'm long-time fussy about orange dials - some I can take to and some I can't. Sometimes it's as tricky as needing to see it on before committing yea or nay: maybe that's why I haven't yet received the email.

I didn't receive the email either. Maybe CW don't love me any more. Too much complaining about how hard it is to tell the time with a Bel Canto, perhaps?

Not sure if they have jumped the gun but it’s now up on the Time and Tide website.

Well based on the article, it doesn't seem unreasonable to be advertising the watch now, with a limited order window starting in just a few days. Even so, you would have thought CW would have liked to launch the watch.

It’s a nice colour, but goodness me, so many variations now.

Perhaps another change of company name to Bel Canto, who also have a franchise to sell watches by Christopher Ward

In the beginning there was a lovely blue dial LE. This was rather popular and CW brought forward the issue of a planned green dial LE. This sold out even quicker.

IIRC CW have subsequently mentioned that a change in who/how some of the bits of the BC are produced has enabled them to produce larger numbers of the BC…

Hence the four non LE colours.

However with multiple options for further colours there have been numerous bespoke LE models commissioned by individuals and groups.

Clearly CW have taken a different approach to the chap that made cars…

You can have any colour you want as long as it is black!

I quite like a few of the novelty dial colours, but not enough to buy one. I will stick to the original blue.

Remind me again how many variations and limited editions there are of Jack Daniels. ;)

I've been wanting a Bel Canto for a while now but I didn't really like any of the current colours. Purple is nice but a bit too loud for my tastes. Red is my favourite colour so I think I'll have to bit the bullet and buy this one.

Does anyone know if there's any other colours planned for this year? It's always annoying when you buy a watch and then they release one in a better colour, though I guess red will be hard to beat for me.

your red one would not get delivered any time soon, so if a different colour came along and took your fancy you could always cancel and re-order (although join the back of the queue)
