@hossaa - your Red One will probably exude a similar vibe on white rubber as my Phoenix;-

Still silly though. That they wouldn’t sell an extra clasp to a client.
CW has not sold separate clasps and buckles in 20 years. Guess they see no reason to start now.

Thanks Guy. For sure it has a similar vibes. I am a huge fan of orange. So had I been able to get a Phoenix - I would have tried to get one. Lucky lucky you.

The other main difference I notice (besides the red Vs orange) is the fume under the sounding fork. A bit like the C1 Bel Canto x James McVey which I also like the look of. I think the fume changes the feel of the white strap for me. I am not unhappy with the white strap. I like changing straps. I am curious to try a black strap at some point. But as I mentioned I have a dark grey strap on its way soon.

I'm sure it has been covered else where but I am curious if the time telling dial would have been better (more legible) if solid. I guess the designers were trying to make the centre pinion look more part of the design by exposing the drive train without adding more height. I am not sure but I am guessing the minute ring is proportioned larger on the Classic.

Overall I love it.

I got mine this past week. To be honest, it’s OK. I thought the dial was gonna be more “iridescent“. It’s also hard to tell the time. It would’ve been nice if the index were of a different color making the time easier to distinguish.

I’m on the fence about this one. So much so I’m thinking of returning it, but I’m gonna wait another week and just look at it.

I did order another one in Blue with a new GUILLOCHÉ FINISH and Roman numerals. I truly believe this one I like a lot better than red one.

I do have to say that the original video showing “the red one“ is maybe a little deceiving in the way the dial looked. But usually, I see a watch in person before I buy it so I cannot fault them in anyway. I’ll probably just end up keeping it as it wasn’t really all that much.

Yeah, I returned mine. It really didn't look like the renders. It was basically just a plain red dial.

I was going to say that the classic version with the guilloche dial, and more easily read hands fixed some potential problems and might be worth considering.

Got an email yesterday about them having some Red ones now available so if anyone wanted one maybe send them a mail:
I hope you're doing well.

I wanted to let you know that a very limited number of the special edition C1 Red One have become available for immediate dispatch.

As you have previously registered an interest in The Red One, I wanted to give you the opportunity to add one to your collection.

Please reply to this email if you would like to purchase The Red One, and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Best regards,

Mike France
