I am confused. Kip seems to have multiple copies of the same watch, including the same dial colour for a few of these. Someone please tell me that I am wrong!

You are not wrong. Kip has em all!!!

There are differences in the c70s that mean that two may look alike but are actually different.

For example, one of the greens is the limited edition COSC, DBR version. There is also a "normal green"

The white have subtle differences, etc etc

Just looking at that photo you would not really be able to tell, as the wording on the rehaut and or bezel that can differentiate them is not viewable.

That's a really nice C5A. Any ideas why the MK III didn't make it in to production?

Don't fully know.

The C5A was dropped from CW's range a few years back when the regular C5 went over to a MkII (39mm case and flat dial as opposed to the MkI's 38mm case and stepped dial). This watch popped up in the 'Archive Event' a couple of months ago; the elements making it a MkIII being the MkI case and dial, gold edged indices with vintage lume and straight (angled as opposed to curve) hands.

I wore it to SalonQP and bumped into Chris Ward (the man himself) who explained it was just an experiment as opposed to any serious intent. Man, I love experiments.

Thanks; that's my summer strap for it. Never ceases to amaze me how a different strap will often change the whole look of a watch.

Thanks for the info Guy, I've checked their web site out. I think for 2016 I will be mostly looking at attachments for my watches i.e. straps.

I borrowed this photo as I always liked it. I would have added HVS's photo, but it seems to have disappeared. :(
