An update for my sh21 c60 diver, I reached out to CW again in regards to my issue and this time they decided to ship my watch over to take a look, fingers crossed on they will honor the 60/60 and help me fix the watch.
That's a good result.
If I bought a car as the third owner and it was still under manufacturers warranty I'd not accept the manufacturer to deny it a repair just because I was not the original owner. Surely the same would apply for watches even without paperwork to that effect?
Fingers crossed CW do the trick.
hopefully they can help me
I am sure they will. They have no alternative really.

However to add balance both IWC and Zenith will refurbish the watch for that price. CW will only touch the movement and not the case.
That is true and the big boys do do a good job, I found Zenith very easy and responsive to deal with.
Not only that, but some official service centres usually replace standard worn parts as part of the service cost, which to be fair, is usually quite high.
