Re: Corax Kingfisher question
Neil is talking about the "corax-kingfisher", and this one is black. Model-number is C6IPSI, and if you look closely, you will see that the case is black IPK indeed:

You have to really examine the CW-website closely to notice this one, the fact that there is a black IPK Kingfisher is well hidden! And that is a shame, because I think the combo black dial, black rubber and black IPK case gives it a nice stealthy look!!!

Re: Corax Kingfisher question
In another thread I referred to this as the corax KF. Mainly because when I first went to CW's website and was perusing the KF's, it would take a second for the images to load. While they were loading, there would be text in the image box describing the watch I had selected. While waiting for this watch image to load, the text used the word corax in the description. Doesn't look shiny like corax though.
Re: Corax Kingfisher question
On the CW website this kingfisher is also in the corax collection with the C4 and C3 corax editions.Chris says that corax is the name for a raven in Latin and is used for the watches he coats with an IPK ionic process giving them a raven black diamond hard finnish.

No. Just look at the collection over at the CW-site, The C6IPSI is with black case, but the C6SKSI is with normal case and black dial..

Re: Corax Kingfisher question
I love the way that strap integrates with the case. That has to be the best looking case/strap integration I have seen on any watch. Darn shame I don't like rubber straps.Hans wrote:![]()

Re: Corax Kingfisher question
cheers Hans thats the way I read it, I just like a brighter colour like yellow and thought it would go! Still I would have thought if its just a case I could ask chris to have one under another colour! I take it that the ipk will scratch less than SS I may be wrong!

100 % Agree.joerattz wrote:I love the way that strap integrates with the case. That has to be the best looking case/strap integration I have seen on any watch. Darn shame I don't like rubber straps.
The integration is just perfect. And because of this, I ordered the LE with rubber strap !!!
