The Shadow is on my wrist & I've put together a group of photos on photo bucket, but so far I can't manage to post them. The instructions say to mouse over each pic and choose IMG, then post, but IMG isn't showing up. Do oyu have experience with this?
Thanks, P

Try opening the picture and then on the right there should be some boxes to share the pic, the bottom one for Img should be visible, click on that and it should then briefly appear as "copied" then you can paste on here.

The Shadow is considerably better than expected. Judging from reviews on worn & wound and watchyouseek, I was afraid this watch would be too big, heavy and bold. Bold it is, but the design is so exquisite and has been so artfully executed that I would go so far as to call the Shadow a masterpiece. No, it's not for everyone and yes, reviewers were correct in calling the supple, hefty Italian rubber strap a "lint magnet." But that's my only critique. The dial has at least 2, maybe 3 shades of black indicating 12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock and the Dievas brand; a subtle and brilliant solution to keeping the face clean and minimalist. These are visible only in certain lights. Yes. it's heavy, but it doesn't feel heavy. Can't explain. And just knowing that the gorgeous matte black treatment of the watch body & lugs will never get scuffed or scratched is a big relief. Plus, you can see what time it is, without your glasses if you wear them, at a distance and at night. The lume is great. The last shot was taken yesterday at the creek where I go to paint pleine air.

I like this a lot more than I expected! The real life photos certainly improve over the website, and I love both the watch and the location of the last photo! I see that it is a fluff finder in the first photos! Not a watch I have ever seen before, but it is certainly worth a second look!

That is a great looking watch - dramatically legible and visually striking 8)

Not surprised it is heavy, given the size. I can imagine it is a "marmite" watch, but I like it!

Glad you liked it.The packaging is also quite beautiful. The existing online photos don't do it justice.
Nor do the youtube videos. When I have time, I'll make my own version of a short youtube video & let you know
when I post it.
I'll also post much delayed photos of the rest of my now slimmed down collection.
Best to you all,
Philip
PS If you or anyone you know want or need info on the MD Anderson Proton Center in Houston,
where treatment for prostate cancer makes older forms of treatment, such as the surgical route,
seem very primitive and unnecessarily painful, I'd be happy to share what I know from personal experience.
It really is an amazing and as yet little known treatment with few or no side effects.

Good to see it on the wrist at last. Not a watch I would wear, certainly, but it looks very good on you. Congrats!

Now that...I like!

The strap also looks wonderful - I am seriously considering an ABP for my Longines.

Don't even think about it. They are THE BEST! Of course, if you happen to be in Paris, the ideal situation is to walk into their wonderful store/workshop and sample the leathers right on your watch. If that's not an option, they're pretty good about going back & forth with possible solutions. And you can get great ideas by scrolling down this page:

What does your Longines look like?

and this is an ABP horn back croc I got for my Luminor; I have since sold both the watch and the strap. The leather was so soft and supple, really a wonderfully made strap. I did the whole thing online & waited a couple of weeks for them to construct & ship it.
