When I went to watchit last month. A member of staff said they were virtually releasing a new watch every week through the summer. We have had 3.in 3 weeks so some more to come after the ultimate c60 by the sounds of it
That's quite a strange operating model for a watch company. I guess now they've built the different platforms they are almost operating like Apple with consistent tweaks/updates to the models
I think there’s an element of not letting the grass grow under your feet, as well as opening up a huge market in the US. To extend the grass metaphor, making hay while the sun shines!

Anyone know how many model releases Tudor do per year?
I don't know the answer but, having done a quick bit of research, you can work it out by looking at the details of the New Watches in the Press Room on Tudor's website.

This is what I was trying to get at. CW is playing in that luxury space so I don't think it's typical for each line to be updated every year or two however they have a unique model and if it works then all good! It's just difficult for me as they release so many good watches I need to be disciplined!

Seems like 7 per year for the last handful of years, still time in 2024 to buck the trend!
I am truly impressed with everything they have announced/launched this year even if I do not want to own all of them. I find the pace of release to be an issue as well. I keep waiting for the next cool thing so ultimately I have not purchased anything. While it affects everyone differently, all these releases have led me to decision paralysis. I have known of the brand for a few years having first seem them at WindUp NYC but still have not purchased anything. At first, nothing was what I wanted so I never purchased anything but now there are too many things I want so it has the same outcome in that I still have not purchased anything because it would not be practical to own all of the ones I want.

I don’t think you’re supposed to want to own all of them.

My thoughts exactly. I find myself losing interest in Christopher Ward as they move away from the design aesthetic that first attracted me to the brand. I’m not saying they’re not producing great watches. They are. They just appeal less and less to me.

^^ is it that CW HAVE to keep releasing new watches/new versions in order to bring in the money ?
Do they need the consistent (?) flow of new watches to encourage purchases because the quantity of sales of established models/colours doesn't bring in sufficient money?
Like others I haven't bought a new watch for a significant amount of time because there hasn't been anything that grabbed my interest enough to justify the layout for "yet another watch" that would sit in a drawer for at least 10 weeks of the year if I spread wear time evenly.
I really want to own one of their dive watches. But every single pro 300 and I’ve tried about 6 in various sizes and colours always have the misaligned inner steel ring. It looks awful I genuinely surprised more people don’t notice this. Even on press shots & in real life the marker on the steel inner ring does not line up with the indice at 6pm. They are always off the right. I brought this up with CW when I rejected the dive watches I was told was in tolerance. Awful in my opinion. So I’m hoping they ditch that inner bezel ring and I am in!

That doesn’t work for everyone, though.
Really? Then the Mod team really have to stage an intervention for Kip.
