Hey all,

Is anyone else having trouble seeing the image? I can't seem to view it in my browser.
Wondering if it's just me or if there's a compatibility issue. Any thoughts?

cheers,

^^^^ @ripple7026

I presume you mean this one in the opening post?

Clearly no issue for me either on Tapatalk or Web Browser (Firefox and Chrome; both are ok).

I'm more and more convinced that the Trident Pro 600 (and the Elite 1000) are going away....
This one looks like Titanium, likely COSC and with redesigned dial and hands (This could be interesting).... Don't know what to make of the "case finishing never before seen" bit.

I am excited to see there will be an update. However I did decide to pull the trigger and purchase the current C60 Pro 300. It has everything I am looking for and most seem to agree because they hardly ever are up for sale! I am sure this new version will be tremendous however

I can imagine that being so, however I do still wish for a 600m, matte bezel, current logo option, and sure, in titanium, why not, and COSC while we’re at it… mostly because I know I’d buy it, in steel or Ti. I want an option that’s a little less ‘shiny dress-diver’ than the 300 Pro (I have the blue 40mm). And yeah, maybe 600m is unnecessary — I’d likely get a matte black 300 Pro, too, if that were the only option, but I’d love not to buy another SW200-1.

My guess from the picture and wording is that it is a COSC certified Pro 300 in Ti with a full lume dial with black hands and indices made similarly to the black skeleton bridges of the twelve x - i.e steel in black with chamfers done using their new fancy CNC machine. Maybe with a bezel similar to the Atol 300, or just a different bezel, not a fan of the look of the normal pro 300 bezel at all, the one thing that lets it down for me.

Ah, yes — a fully lumed dial and the hands in the illustration make sense; good shout.

For me, the thing that lets the bezel down is the high polish. The matte bezel on the 300 Bronze would be perfect on the regular 300 line.

I think you might be right about the lumed dial. It makes sense, considering the sketch CW have published. Hopefully not too bright, the watch might end up looking like a lit up G Shock at night.

bananapants wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 5:07 pm This is awfully compelling in that I've been focusing on fine tuning my watch box to a less-is-more scenario and more watches have left than have rejoined in recent months. Less-is-more has shined a light on really trying to get it right with each watch - functional, refined, and suited for longevity both in quality and design language I think would be the theme.

That said, though I may have just landed on my ultimate C65 Trident model in the recent addition of the C65 Trident Chronograph, I've struggled with the C60 line over the years, with different generations, sizes, colors, and GMT versions passing in and out of the collection. I finally landed on the C60 Trident Pro 300, 40mm in blue last year, which was my daily driver for several months. I much prefer the bezel on the Pro 300, but as I've honed my focus and taken a harder editorial view, I'm questioning it.

A new Pro 300... possibly titanium... and a chronometer... that could be the one!
I agree. I could maybe, maybeeee see myself selling my Tudor to buy that and have cash left over and just be one and done in terms of divers.
Always blue!

Hmmmmm, it really seems like a lumed dial/skeleton hands design... Now I am less interested, I dislike lumed dials.

Would be a real letdown for me as well.

So there would be only one dial color option then.
Do you guys know about any colored lume dial? Like a black lume dial? Is that even possible?

The only one I know of is this brand called Christopher Ward and their C65 Dartmouth series 2 with a blue lumed dial :D

^^^^ Skeleton hands? Yes, I'll run with that.

Lumed dial? No idea where that's come from?

Black lume? CW has used that on the hands and indices of the C60 Abyss models, but I've yet to see black lume used on a dial.

Lumed dial? Don’t envision that happening or why it would need to happen. Lumed hands? Yes. I owned an Abyss & couldn’t decipher the time in the evening. Apparently black lume doesn’t show up very well. If this is going to be the “ultimate 300” model, I would expect the hands will be lumed with the highly visible type used on recent CW watches.
