But every single pro 300 and I’ve tried about 6 in various sizes and colours always have the misaligned inner steel ring. It looks awful I genuinely surprised more people don’t notice this. Even on press shots & in real life the marker on the steel inner ring does not line up with the indice at 6pm. They are always off the right. I brought this up with CW when I rejected the dive watches I was told was in tolerance. Awful in my opinion. So I’m hoping they ditch that inner bezel ring and I am in!
I'm not sure what you are describing. Can you see it on the image on the website linked below?

Would be a real letdown for me as well.

So there would be only one dial color option then.
Do you guys know about any colored lume dial? Like a black lume dial? Is that even possible?
The only one I know of is this brand called Christopher Ward and their C65 Dartmouth series 2 with a blue lumed dial :D
Oh yeah... you are correct... feeling a little bit stupid now xD
But still, I don't think a black dial would be plausable.

Does anyone have any idea what case size this might be?

Assuming it'll be using the in house movement, at least 41mm? 🤔

^^^ My guess on movement is the SW300 in chronometer guise. Size wise I’d think 40 or 42, and the Sellita gives the option for either. Sellita would also allow them to make it thinner than the SH21, which I’d think would matter in an “ultimate” watch. Unless this is the reveal of the next-gen SH21…

Anyone want to hazard a guess on price? I appreciate this is hypothetical without details of the spec, but one could probably speculate that they would likely be a min of 30% above the “standard” trident to differentiate the ranges?

It's gotta be in the 2,000 ballpark in my opinion. Depends also if they offer titanium bracelet or not with it. With it, my guess is 2300$, without, my guess is 1850$

Coming back to lumed dials, Studio Underd0g uses these in their field watches and they manage to add a touch of colour. Going off tangent, I also noticed similarity in the dial fonts of the previous CW branding and Studio Underd0g and so I wonder if any further collaboration or inspiration has come from this direction.

But the hint/invite alludes to "new sport watch" not dive watch? Oh what the heck! I don't know but I'd rather the watch anniversaire speciale (sorry!) was the next great thing in the line of C60 Pro 600 but I get it that what young people think they want is something better suited to a slender wrist.
C60 MKI, MKII, MKIII: "some",
C6 & C60 Kingfishers,
C600 Tritechs,
C63 "some",
C65 "some",
C4, C40, C8, C9, C3, C5, C20 & 23FLE
Some other brands

I am going with it is the new watch that they already stated is being launched on 8/29/24...only one week later than the preview.

New sports watch you say?

I assume it’s ok to speculate before the preview, on the basis that anything is just a wild guess.

My wild guess…

A C12 chronograph. :)
