Colour Combinations

Post by foxes1884 »

With a new Dune incoming and the article suggesting taking a dial pattern from a successful collaboration it got me thinking about colour combinations as for me it’s more the colour combination than the textured dial which I find attractive about the Shoreline.

I would personally love to see a grey face with light blue/aqua markers and / or hands on a Sealander GMT or Atoll. [-o< :fondof:

I do tend to like the blue / orange combinations that have been used extensively throughout CWs over the years.

What are your favourite colour combinations and are there any colour combinations you would like to see on a specific CW watch?

I like yellow. I find it more visible than other colours. When I programme I often use black on yellow rather than other combinations. I find it more readable.

I only have 2 yellow watches though.

I would love to pick up a yellow C65 Trident 316L at some point

Green and brown/beige. Generally earthy tones.
With the C65 Dune in particular, the article referenced old land rover colours, which sounds promising.
