I think I’ve accidentally bought my 1st CW because of your post! The Tide sitting in my basket was bought as I procrastinated so I refreshed and found a nice discount on a C63 Sealander GMT in white. Identical to one I’d been considering in white but with the text branding rather than the icon. Bought it as I’m not sure which branding I prefer anyway and it’s on its way!

That’s a great price for one CW’s best imho. I missed out on the black dialled one last night by around 10 minutes. I should have known better. Anyway, off for an afternoon Nana-nap as I didn’t sleep too well last night…🙈

Good for you & welcome to CW watch ownership. Your purchase was a great buy, I might add! As a fellow forum watch enabler, I am glad if I helped in any way!

I didn't say it was a watch, now did I? :wink: :wink:

Original bracelet, with butterfly deployant, for a C4 IPK.

It should look a treat on my C4 BBMF.

@Bahnstormer

Well that must have been hidden away in an alcove somewhere in CW towers. A great pick up. Is that the one that was £25. I saw that, but it was definitely no use to me :D

Yup, 25 of the finest coin of the King's realm. Brand new, sticked. Bargain.

I missed the clearance completely, but luckily I was chatting to someone on the CWE Facebook group that had managed to acquire what might be one of (if not) the last C1 Morgan Aero 8 watches offered on sale. He didn't bond with it and so here it is, arrived today.

It's absolutely lovely and a watch I have admired since I started collecting CW watches a few years back. This will fill the hole left by the departure of my C8 PR, C65 SH21 LE and PowerGlow 8)

Suffice to say I'm absolutely smitten with this :D

Absolutely great pick up & addition to your collection. I have owned the C1 Morgan SH21 version for several years & it remains the crown jewel of my Christopher Ward watch collection. Having the 5-day power reserve indicator & speedometer styled small seconds sub dial really sets your watch apart! Another nice design touch is the pip of bright red on the dial. Your new watch checks the boxes of classic motorsport style with a vintage feel that should not become dated. Not until I purchased my C1 Morgan did I appreciate the true advantage of the powerful 5-day reserve of the SH21 movement for a manual wind watch. If you do happen to forget to wind it for a day or two, no worries! If yours is like mine, you will find its time keeping to be extremely accurate. May you enjoy & wear your C1 Morgan Aero 8 for many years to come! Thanks for sharing the picture.

Thanks. I've always loved the SH21 movement, and the hand wound ones in particular, so really happy to have this one in the collection 8)

I also love the look, and in fact it's the only "motorsport" watch now in my collection too, which is great to have :thumbup:

Enjoy yours too, it sounds like you are :D

Having picked up and swiftly moved on a C60 Sunrise this sales period, when someone on Facebook CWE posted that the clearance had been restocked, I took a look definitely just to satisfy my curiosity and definitely NOT to rashly purchase a rarity that I’d coveted.

Ahem.

The problem with posting your lovely new watches in this thread is that whenever someone sees a new post indication they assume that the sale is on again. I’ve been caught out twice today. :lol:

Congratulations, I admired the C1 Aero 8 for a long time and eventually got one myself last year. Well worth the wait!
