Even so, if you look at the Resale and Pricing Information on the CWArchive - C4 Peregrine you'll see that £125 was crazy even back in 2016 and that Wardhoard's piece is not far off the mark today.

From experience with a different brand, faulty alarm probably means new module/new movement. If you had the movement reference you could find a ballpark price in EBay for a DIY movement swap?
