Well, okay, I can't claim that I took a person-to-person call from anyone at CW Towers but lets engage in a mutual flight of fancy by imagining that our views are being sought as part of a focus group.
The words Christopher Ward and all abbreviated versions of the same may be about to vanish from the dial of our favourite watch brand: it's one thing to take away the words but what do you then call the brand, the company, the watches?
Ask yourself by what name the switchboard should be answered...... and please feel free to add your idea to the list.

Someone recently mentioned Ellis & France. I thought that had a nice ring to it.
I think they’re way too established to change the brand name, and I’m positive they won’t. I don’t care what they do or don’t put on the dial, it’s a Christopher Ward. There are many watch companies out there with a persons name attached to it who doesn’t work there.
However, I voted for Flaggy McFlagface for obvious reasons.

I think the Christopher Ward name is sufficiently well established to hold brand value in itself, so I doubt it will be dropped in the short term, but the name on the dial, especially left aligned, put me off for two generations (in watch model terms).
I celebrate its removal from the dial, being replaced by the Twin Flags (“Swish”, ugh), especially at 12.
At. Long. Last.

Some have complained about the name since the beginning. Some have encouraged the two flag logo since it came out. They moved the logos around as styles gave them opportunity. They continue to evolve.
I’m behind these guys 100%. They listen to the fans and critics no matter how brutal or fanboyish the feedback and they evolve. That’s smart and I will defend them as being smart till the end.
My personal opinion, having owned and seen it since the beginning, is that it feels like the flag makes sense on sport models and the verbiage makes sense on dress watches, if you break all watches into sport or dress.
But you know what? I don’t have a fortune riding on the decision. CW owners do. Let them figure it out.
While people sit around flailing in anguish, CW management is having fun with their money trying to do something special. Don’t forget that. At some point the criticism becomes ridiculously selfish.
If you have watched from the beginning, you know they’ll get the next steps right and keep selling is great watches. Trust them. I do.

I quite like the twin flags logo, my only slight reservation as others have expressed on other threads is the perceived lack of identity this may bring particularly to potential new customers who do not know the brand. Equally I'm aware the may wish to move away to an extent from the full "Christopher Ward" branding as the man himself is no longer with the business.
As a compromise, a CW or CWL below the twin flags might be one way to go?

Great. So you agree with us that FLAGGY McFLAGFACE is the way to go for the future? I mean, once you visualize it on a dial, it's very hard to go back to just a picture of a flag without some context.

Here's a C7 with just a nice flag. It's not a deal-breaker I did post this on WUS and was asked what watch it was though. Under the radar with this stealthy watch, that's me. I prefer the c7 handset though.

Where’s ‘the artist formerly known as CW’??
Well, truth is that's where I started from, you know "Giclee: the artist formerly known as Prints"
