Hi all.
I have a question, for the first few days of owning my C8 Mark 1 Flyer automatic, the date was changing correctly. I'd wake up the next day and it would be showing that days date.
In the last few days, it hasn't been changing, and I only notice it mid morning. I haven't yet seen it change date during the day, but I'll keep an eye on it just to make sure.
It may be due to having left it in the case for a few days. Not being wound.
How would I change the date/time so that it changes correctly?
Hope this makes sense.
Andy
Ps here is a pic, for the heck of it

Re: C8 Automatic Date
It may just need advancing 12 hours if it stopped it may now be showing the time as PM instead of AM or vice versa.

Re: C8 Automatic Date
Hi Andy, I would imagine your watch has been 12 hours slow since the last full wound. To make sure I get the time right when adjusting a mechanical watch, I always follow the following procedures:
i) pull the crown to the first position
ii) change the date to "yesterday" date (i.e. "14")
iii) pull the crown to the 2nd position
iv) keep turning the crown to move the minute hand until the date change to "15"
v) then continue to turn the crown and adjust to the correct time (i.e. if its 3 pm now, you need to keep turning the crown and make sure the hour hand move from "1" to "12" and then stop at "3", or think of it as 1500)
