Re: C70 Grand Prix Series Limited Editions
I bought my brother a C70 brooklands on bracelet for his 40th a few weeks ago. It really is a thing of beauty and how it sits on the wrist is fantastic. Quartz isn't my preference, but handling and wearing it for a few days (well, I had to try it out before wrapping it up for him!) has tempted me slightly. My personal colour preference would be the yellow ascari version though.

Not the latest C70 but my one and only CWmessym wrote:

Re: C70 Grand Prix Series Limited Editions
I have one for sale on the forum that I just bumped down in pricemessym wrote:It's the C70 COSC that first drew me back to this forum. I wanted to find out more about the model.
I'm quite drawn to the France and Italian versions, for the vivid blue and red colours.
I'm also keen on the HAQ movement as I had also been looking at the Certina DS-2 divers chronos.
If anyone has a photo of the latest blue or red to help tempt me?

Thanks but I'm not able to view at the moment. I'll keep contributing for now though as I'm impressed with the Cw range, especially these.

So a little over six months after starting this thread my questions were answered for us. They were too bloody expensive!Scrogg wrote:Why is that? What is wrong with them? Why have four limited edition models of only 500 pieces each failed to sell in what is now nearly two years?
Put them in a 50% sale and they all sell within days, with many members on here suddenly finding a love for them.
Fickle bunch, aren't we?

Not sure that fickle is the right word. 'Recognizing value' might be more appropriate. The price drop certainly pushed me into buying one but I wouldn't have paid full price for it since there are some quite nice autos available at that price.Scrogg wrote:So a little over six months after starting this thread my questions were answered for us. Re: C70 Grand Prix Series Limited Editions
I wanted the C70 Rosso Corsa so bad I was about to pay full price when they disappeared off the site. I almost had an anxiety attack thinking I missed out. Poof a few days later they went on sale and that beauty is now in my collection. This is the CW I wanted the absolute most and I got it at half price. Lucky me.
