C70 BRITISH RACING GREEN - LTD ED

Post by macotignola »

Hello everyone,

I want to get your thoughts on the "C70 BRITISH RACING GREEN - LTD ED."
Do you like it? It looks great on the pictures, how does it look when you are wearing it? What do you think about $$$ for a quartz watch? Thanks for your help ... I am looking at one but I am completely undecided.

Thanks,

My friend has recently got one. Lovely colour, and personally I love the C70 range.

My wife bought me one and it looks far better in real life than the website pictures. It is a really nice green.

I was wearing the watch today as it's C7 week (Monday - Black C7, Tuesday - Bluebird, Today - C70 BRG and C7 IRR tomorrow).

If you get 15% off then the price is reasonable for a quartz chrono.

Robin
So if you can save 15% off a Breitling Colt Superquartz that sells at $3000 it is a definite no brainer as well. :)

I don't think Christopher Ward is in Breitling's league yet!

I was seeking to advise the OP that the value price for a CW these days is at least 15% off the list price. It is the company which has brought about this perception through almost continuous discounting. I cannot see that a reference to Breitling, who do not have a such a reputation, is either relevant or helpful. I know your hackles will rise in the face of any negativity towards the C W brand so may I just say in mitigation that I think you do a tremendous job as moderator of this forum.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately I hesitated and I missed my chance and now the watch is gone. I am going to blame my wife ... she did not like the green face ;-)

Thank again guys!!!

There may be one in a Nearly New Sale after Christmas, so all hope may not be lost yet.

NN Sale will be 30% off for close to mint condition...if there is one in the sale...and if there is a sale (there usually is). So not far off the deal you missed.
