It says "early 2018". Could April be month of introduction AND release ?

No - I think there was a later update that stated May/June and I was told mid to end May at a showroom visit in February.

I emailed them regarding this, and Scott gave a rather cryptic reply stating nothing would be said until Loupe in May

With a few of the recent releases the Loupe issue has coincided with the actual watch release so maybe it'll be May for the watch.

It looks nice, but what do you guys prefer? The old version with the logo under 12, or the new version with the logo next to 9?

Not sure what you mean by 'old version', there's nothing really comparable.

I like the look of this.
Sub-second markers on a non-chrono is normally a turnoff for me, but these look ok.
Similarly, fake old lume.

Logo at 12 would make this look great.

'Early 2018' can mean anywhere up to November in CW speak.

There wasn't an old version of this so it is what it is.
At 12o'clock there will be the 2 flags indented, you can just see the left hand side of one on the photo above.

I assume it will not have a date, like the original Fifty Fathoms.

As it is manual wind, it would make sense if they use the ETA 2801-2 the same as the Slimline.

Perhaps this is why they only picture the left side of the watch?
Did I miss something?

The end of this thread below talks about a May release, dial colour options and a GMT version to follow:

Anyone seen anything about pricing?

Did you notice on the PIC that there is a new logo at 12?
